In April 2026, he was invited to speak at the VI International Congress on Reference Value, Cadastral Value and Property Tax (VI Congreso Internacional sobre el Valor de Referencia, el Valor Catastral y el Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles), celebrated in Madrid, where he delivered a presentation on the Spanish Property Reference Value (Valor de Referencia) and the legal procedures and grounds available to taxpayers to challenge it.
This area has become particularly relevant in Spanish property transactions and inheritances, as the Reference Value established by the Spanish Cadastre can directly affect the taxable value of a property for Transfer Tax and Inheritance and Gift Tax.
